The SEED Programme

Programme aims: Supporting youth workers to share best practice in youth work that enables the development of youth enterprise to overcome barriers of poverty and social exclusion and related conflict.

Themes explored: Economics, Social exclusion, Conflict, Youth enterprise, Best practice in youth work.

Programme overview: This programme is aimed at youth workers and peer educators and considers how youth entrepreneurship can best be enabled (or seeded) for the development of youth enterprise to successfully supports young people to overcome barriers of poverty and social exclusion and the potential conflict that these factors cause.

Next delivery date and location: This programme will next run in Birmingham, UK from 2-5th December 2010 in conjuction with the British Council, European Commision and our partners based in Italy, Romania and the Czech Republic.
