The Common Ground Foundation is an independent organisation, which delivers intercultural learning & development initiatives that support people, organisations and communities to develop their capacities to explore and transform conflict beyond adversarial approaches toward effective, cooperative solutions. Based in the UK and operating globally, our services aim to turn conflict into a powerful source of advantage for all.
Read more about who we areThrough the delivery of our intercultural and skill development programmes, the Common Ground Foundation aims to contribute to the transformation of how humanity addresses conflict: Empowering individuals, organisations and communities to move away from the use of adversarial approaches towards the use of collaborative problem solving techniques. To do so we employ culturally appropriate means whilst working with stakeholders to strengthen their capacity to deal with conflicts in a constructive manner and one that empowers them to build upon their expertise as we facilitate opportunities for them to explore their differences and act progressivley on the commonalities that they identify.
Working collaboratively participants are empowered to begin to transform the challenges that they face as individuals and within and between the organisations and communities that they belong to for mutual benefit. In the process they gain opportunity to explore conflict in its different forms, its causes, structure and relationship to identity whilst developing their skills for life.
Our programmes result in conflicts transformation becoming a powerful source of advantage for all.
